Yours truly, eure alte Veteranin is a dance solo in which Clara Sjölin opens a conversation with the Leipzig born Auguste Hennig (1864-1959). Auguste Hennig was a women's rights activist and together with Clara Zetkin and Käthe Duncker, she submitted the proposal for the introduction of International Women's Day in Copenhagen in 1910. The performance embodies Auguste's life and is a gesture of gratitude for what she achieved for the cause of women's rights.
